2018 Service Award Winner, Keith Zaborowski - Keith Zaborowski has had a 30-year career for University Housing at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, currently serving as associate director for operations and support. He holds a master’s degree from Nebraska and a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.

Keith has served as a volunteer track official for 18 years. He was recruited for the job by Mark Colligan. Keith has had the pleasure of clerking numerous Big 12 Indoor Championships, NCAA Outdoor Regionals and GPAC Championships. His favorite part of clerking is the camaraderie with fellow clerks and having the chance to interact with student-athletes. While in his heart he roots for the Huskers, he fondly remembers working a meet when Baylor’s 4x400-meter relay team included two Olympic gold medalists.

Keith’s wife, Shelley, is the executive director of the Nebraska Alumni Association. They have two children, Maddie, a junior at Lincoln Pius X, and Ethan, a sophomore at Lincoln North Star.  They also have two dogs, a chocolate lab named Marvin and a German shorthair pointer named Stanley. In his spare time, Keith enjoys golf (he has played 35 of the top 200 Golf Digest courses), travel and wine.
