Lisa Greathouse, President, Husker Track Officials (2020-2021) - I have been involved with track & field for 44 years! - My father was a high school track coach and cross country coach for 25 years, and coached at the University of Nebraska Lincoln for 2 years, so I have been around running for most of my life. I started running road races at the age of 8, ran track in high school and still run races, mostly 10 K’s and half marathons. In 1997 I started helping at the University of Nebraska track meets as a Husker Track Official. I have helped officiate NAIA National Indoor Championships, Big 12 Indoor and Outdoor Championships, Big 10 Indoors and Outdoors Championships, GPAC Indoor Championships, USATF track meets for local high schools, National and Masters levels, and the Nebraska Cornhusker State and National Games. I currently serve as the President of the Nebraska Husker Track Officials, and will be the first female President. I am currently credentialed with the USA Track and Field Association to officiate meets for Youth, National and Master levels. In 2005-2010 I helped with the Lincoln Jets Youth Track Club, setting up the meets, volunteer coaching, and officiating the meets. Lisa Greathouse |
