Most people, without regard to age, race, sex, etc., have plenty of "common sense" to avoid hypocrisy and incompetence as detailed here.
Likewise, most people, without regard to age, race, sex, etc., have plenty of "common sense" to do what's best for them, as detailed here.
By the way . . .
As reported by CNBC.com on February 19 2018, the annual salary for the President of the United States of America is $400,000 plus an additional $100,000 in travel reimbursement, $18,000 for entertainment and $50,000 for additional expenses.
Unlike the typical American worker, who brings in about $44,564 a year, the president is paid $400,000 a year, plus an extra expense allowance of $50,000 a year, a $100,000 non-taxable travel account and $19,000 for entertainment.
Between 1789, when George Washington came into office, and today, there have been five pay raises for the President, the most recent one coming in 2001, when Congress doubled the presidential salary. George W. Bush, who took office that year, was the first to benefit from the increase — which, as you can tell from the breakdown below, was arguably overdue. CNBC used an inflation calculator to determine what each salary would be worth in today’s dollars. It turns out that $400,000 a year is nothing compared to what some previous presidents earned.
1789: $25,000 ($669,469 in 2018 dollars)
1873: $50,000 ($994,060 in 2018 dollars)
1909: $75,000 ($1.97 million in 2018 dollars)
1949: $100,000 ($1.04 million in 2018 dollars)
1969: $200,000 ($1.35 million in 2018 dollars)
2001: $400,000
So, do the math: During his first term as POTUS, President Trump literally "donated" back to the U.S. government and/or other sources no less than:
$450,000 x 4 years = $1,800,000 USD
Biden didn't do this.
Harris wouldn't do this.
Plus, as reported by OpenSecrets.org, President Trump ran a very "efficient" and financially responsible political campaign.
Conversely, as reported by the Economic Times on November 12, 2024 and as reported by OpenSecrets.org, Harris literally raised nearly $2 billion dollars for her presidential campaign and STILL ended the race with a debt of at least $20 million!
Just imagine, just imagine . . . why didn't Harris raise $2 billion to reduce the plight of homeless citizens, to help veterans, to reduce poverty on Indian Reservations, etc. But no, Harris does not practice the "egalitarian" principals she preaches.
FACT: Harris was blatantly inept managing her own campaign budget; it's also a fact, as documented below, she and President Biden previously demonstrated their ineptness managing inflation and the Federal Budget.
