Barbara Grajski - For nearly twenty years, Barbara has been and remains a dynamic leader in legal staffing and related services for the legal profession throughout the Bay Area!

Barbara founded Landmark Legal Professionals after having built a successful track record working with in-house counsel firms, attorneys, paralegals, law office administration, and business leaders at major firms throughout California and Texas. Additionally, through Barbara's entrepreneurial spirit, vision and pioneering efforts she established South Bay offices for a major locally owned firm, and she established offices in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco for a major national firm. It remains Barbara objective to build successful relationships for the mutual benefit of clients and candidates.

Barbara takes an active interest in her profession, she currently serves on the Advisory Board for West Valley College's Paralegal Program, and is a member of the Women Presidents Organization. Barbara is a former Pacific Region Vice President and Board Member of the Legal Assistant Management Association, and former member of the Association of Legal Administrators.

Barbara attended Texas Tech University, where she majored in business administration.

Since 1998, Gloria has used her legal knowledge to insightfully, expertly, successfully, and consistently recruit and place legal staff - from implementing a project attorney placement division for a major international staffing company to immediate responsibility as Recruitment Manager for placement of attorneys and all support staff. Gloria is highly recognized, by our clients and candidates, for her keen judgment and a consistent record of successful placements.

Gloria received her JD from Santa Clara University and her BA in Business Management from Saint Mary's College. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the Santa Clara County Bar.

Tedra Best - Tedra's niche, her specialized but profitable corner of the legal placement market includes subject matter expertise placing staff in legal office management and support positions - from national legal staffing companies to boutique law firms specializing in corporate formation of emerging growth companies. Tedra, who had great success working at a top Silicon Valley semi-conductor company as part of their in-house legal department, has also managed a national legal staffing company and worked for many years as a corporate securities paralegal. Since 1999, Tedra has used her hands-on knowledge of the complexities of producing actual legal work product to conduct targeted recruitment, and to assess, validate, and match candidate proficiencies to an ideal employer's job openings. Tedra continues her record of great success with Landmark!

Tedra received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego.

Patricia McMahon - Patricia is uniquely qualified to truly examine the big picture of legal staffing placement because of her management experience as former Director of Global Staffing for a publicly-held Silicon Valley technology company, her experience as a paralegal in law firms and government agencies, and as a practicing attorney for a mid-sized South Bay firm. Pat combines her own proficiencies to expertly match the right candidate to the right position. Having built many successful relationships with her peers in both the legal community and human resource management, since 1999, Pat has primary focused on legal recruiting and welcomes each new placement opportunity!

Pat received her JD from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, CA and her B.S. from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA. She is an active member of the Northern California Human Resources Association.

Lea Berhane

Lea Berhane - Lea's a former Division Director for the regular-hire placement of attorneys and all legal support staff and is known for her catch-phrase, "Let's exceed our client's expectations!" Prior to beginning her career in legal staff recruitment in 2000, Lea was a litigation paralegal with major national law firms in Silicon Valley. Consistent with her goal to exceed client expectations, Lea promptly established a paralegal placement division in the East Bay branch office of an international staffing company.

Lea attended California State University-Chico, where she majored in Political Science and obtained her Paralegal Certificate.

Janet Stein

Janet Stein - With over 20 years of subject matter expertise in human resources, Janet has consistently performed as the "key" player in guiding clients in the placement of legal staff. Prior to joining Landmark, Janet managed human resources, including employment, for international law firms in both the Silicon Valley and Washington D.C. Additionally, Janet provided consulting services to and managed the employment function for manufacturing and technology companies in Northern and Southern California.

Janet has robust experience filling every imaginable legal position opening, and she is accustomed to successfully bridging the gap between candidate expectations and client requirements. Working with Janet is characterized by her confidence, professional integrity, and a great sense of personal enjoyment conducting legal staff recruitment!

Janet received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA. Janet is an active in the Association of Legal Administrators and the Society for Human Resources Management.

Denise Bottarini - Managing Landmark's business development is just one of the things Denise does well! Denise learned legal staffing from the inside out, having worked in major San Francisco law firms and at Bay Area corporations during 16 years of diverse experience in her former career as a paralegal. More recently, Denise established a legal placement division in the Peninsula branch office of an international staffing company.

Denise has consistently taken an active role in developing recruitment relationships and business relationships since joining the legal staffing industry in 1992. With a wink to having fun and excitement, building mutually advantageous relationships has been and remains Denise's highest priority.

Denise received her B.A. in English from the University of California at Davis and her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego Paralegal Program.

Beverly Johnson - Beverly expects nothing less than another great decade of success in placing legal professionals and support staff. Prior to joining Landmark, Beverly successfully worked in both local and international legal staffing firms based in the Bay Area. Beverly's exceptional placement skills mirror her organizational and people skills which were seasoned through 15-years of progressive corporate experience with IBM, where she worked as a sales and marketing executive. Beverly attended San Jose State University, where she majored in music.

Outside of the office, you might see Beverly singing Dido and Aeneas "Thy Hand Belinda" in a local opera house and, given her commitment to health and fitness, you'd also find her competing in the 100 or 200 meters sprints in masters track.
