BIO: Welcome to my web site. I'm Trip, and here are a few of my paintings, illustrations, drawings, and street art. My style is primarily photo-realistic, and I'm able to produce the same result from a "live" setting or from a photograph. I'm far more excited and challenged by the overall "atmosphere and message" generated by an image, but not how "real" it looks.

Personally, when considering classic European art, the baroque period is my favorite. However, I consider contemporary comic book artists like Gene Colan, Jack Kirby, and Paul Gulacy, and fantasy artists like Rich Corben, Frank Frazetta, and Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri as good or generally better than any legacy artists.

I was born in Missouri and I"ve also been a resident of Nebraska, Kansas, Illinois, Texas, and Colorado. I received my first art scholarship when I was in the fourth grade to attend college level drawing and art classes for a couple of semesters. After graduating from high school my junior year, I then graduated from college my junior year with academic honors in commercial illustration. I primarily work as a freelance artist, and I'm very comfortable working in any medium with extremely short deadlines - while producing quality work! Before contracting for my services, it's always my pleasure to produce "finished art" drafts of logos, brochures, drawings, paintings, (oil, acrylic, watercolor), murals, product designs, album covers, etc., to meet your specific needs.

I have absolutely no artistic fears, I'm not even close to reaching the limits of my potential, and I know my best work is ahead of me.
